Installing Jibble’s Chrome Extension

  1. You can install the Jibble extension through these methods:
    1. Using the Jibble Web App:
      • Log in to your Jibble account and locate the Get the app button on your dashboard.

      • When a prompt appears, select Chrome Extension to be taken to the Chrome Web Store.

    2. Directly from the Chrome Web Store:
  2. Click Add to Chrome to install the extension.

  3. After the installation is complete, an icon will be added to your browser’s toolbar.
  4. To access the extension, click the puzzle piece icon in the upper right corner of your Chrome toolbar.
  5. Pin the Jibble Time Tracker by clicking the pin icon next to it, making it easily accessible while using Microsoft Outlook.

  1. Log in to your Microsoft Outlook account.
  2. Click the Jibble icon in the Chrome toolbar to open the timer extension.
  3. Sign in to your Jibble account, or create a new one if you don’t have an account.
  4. Click the three horizontal lines in the top right corner to access Account Settings.
  5. Navigate to Integrations.

Tracking time in Microsoft Outlook

Jibble’s Time Tracker provides several quick and easy ways to track your time within Microsoft Outlook.

  • Using the embedded Jibble Timer
  1. Open Microsoft Outlook and go to the email or calendar event you want to track time for.
  2. In the task or event view, you’ll find the Jibble in button.

  4. Choose an activity and project if necessary.
  5. Notes will be automatically filled based on the email or calendar event titles.

  • Using keyboard shortcuts
  1. Click the Jibble icon in your Chrome toolbar.
  2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner and select Settings.
  3. Turn on the toggle for Keyboard Shortcuts.Toggle keyboard shortcut under settings
  4. Once enabled, use the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows or Command+Shift+S on Mac to clock in.
  5. Use the same shortcut to clock out.

Note: When clocking in or out using keyboard shortcuts, the previously selected activity and project (if applicable) will be applied automatically, and no additional notes are needed.


  • Using right clicks

Note: When clocking in using right-click, the previously selected activity and project (if any) will be applied automatically, so no additional notes are needed.


  • Using text highlighting
