Installing Jibble’s Chrome Extension

  1. You can add the Jibble extension by:
    1. Installing via the Jibble Web App:
      • Sign in to your Jibble account.
      • Find the Get the App button on your dashboard.Get the app button on web app
      • Click on Chrome Extension to be redirected to the Chrome Web Store.

    1. Installing directly from the Chrome Web Store:

  2. Once installed, the Jibble icon will show up in your browser toolbar.
  3. To access the extension, click the puzzle piece icon in the top-right corner of your browser.
  4. For easier access, pin the extension by clicking the pin icon next to it.

  1. Click the Jibble icon in your browser’s toolbar to open the extension.
  2. Log in to your existing Jibble account or sign up if you’re a new user.
  3. Access the extension menu by clicking the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner.
  4. From the dropdown, choose Integrations.

Tracking Time in ClickUp

Once you’ve installed and linked the Jibble extension to ClickUp, you can begin tracking your time through various methods.

  • Using the Jibble Timer:
  1. Log into ClickUp and navigate to the task or project you wish to track time for.
  2. Look for the Jibble Timer button within the task or project interface.

  4. If necessary, choose the relevant task or project; these will be pre-filled in the notes section.

  • Using keyboard shortcuts
  1. Click the Jibble icon in your browser toolbar to open the extension.
  2. In the extension menu, click the three horizontal lines at the top-right corner.
  3. Navigate to Settings and enable Keyboard Shortcuts for ClickUp.Toggle keyboard shortcut under settings

Once activated, press Ctrl+Shift+S (Windows) or Command+Shift+S (Mac) to start the timer. Use the same shortcut to stop it.

Note: The task or project you last worked on will be automatically populated, eliminating the need for manual entry.


  • Using right clicks
  1. Right-click anywhere within ClickUp.

Note: The task or project you selected earlier will be automatically filled in, so there’s no need to add extra details.


  • Using text highlighting
  1. Open the task or project you want to track time for.
  2. Highlight any relevant text within the task.

  4. The clock-in screen will appear with the highlighted text automatically populated in the notes section.
