Installing Jibble’s Chrome Extension

  1. You can install the Jibble extension:
    1. Using the Jibble Web App:
      • Log in to your Jibble account and find the Get the app button on your dashboard.Get the app button on web app
      • Click Chrome Extension to be redirected to the Chrome Web Store.

    1. Directly from the Chrome Web Store:
  1. Click Add to Chrome to install the extension.Chrome extension selection on dashboard
  2. After installation, the extension icon will appear in your browser toolbar.
  3. To open it, click the puzzle piece icon at the top right of your Chrome window.
  4. For easy access while using Canva, click the pin icon next to the Jibble extension to pin it to your toolbar.

  1. Click the Jibble icon in your Chrome toolbar.
  2. Log in to your Jibble account, or sign up for a free account if you’re new.
  3. Click the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner of the extension.
  4. Select Integrations from the menu.

Tracking time in Canva

Once you’ve successfully installed and integrated Jibble’s time tracking extension with Canva, you can easily track your time using several methods.

  • Using the Jibble Timer:
  1. Open Canva and log in to your account.
  2. Navigate to the design file where you want to track your time.
  3. Look for the Jibble In button within Canva’s interface.Jibble in button on Canva
  4. Click the Jibble In button to open a pop-up window.
  5. Select an activity and project, if necessary. 
  6. The project name will auto-fill in the notes section.

  • Using keyboard shortcuts
  1. Click on the Jibble icon in your Chrome toolbar.
  2. In the top-right corner of the extension, click the three horizontal lines.
  3. Choose Settings from the menu.
  4. Turn on the toggle for Keyboard Shortcuts to enable them for Canva.

Once activated, use Ctrl+Shift+S (Windows) or Command+Shift+S (Mac) to start the timer in Canva. To stop the timer, use the same shortcut.

Note: The last used activity and project will be automatically applied, so no need to add new notes.


  • Using right clicks
  1. Right-click inside Canva and select Jibble | Clock In from the menu to begin tracking time.Right click to clock in on Canva

Note: The previously selected activity and project will be automatically applied, and no additional notes will be required.


  • Using text highlighting
  1. Open the design file you want to track time for in Canva.
  2. Highlight any key text within the design.
