Jibble now supports multiple languages on both iOS and Android devices! Explore the languages available on Jibble to learn more about our current offerings.

Jibble’s localization feature allows you to change the language of your Jibble app, providing a seamless time tracking experience in your preferred language. 

This option is available to users of all roles and will only change the language of that user’s Jibble app. If you’re using the web app and would like to use it in your preferred language, check out our article on configuring language settings on Jibble’s web app.French localization of Jibble mobile app

Important ❗: The localization of the Jibble app is being carried out in phases. We are actively working on localizing exports to provide you with a fully localized experience.

Configuring language settings on your device

iOS:

  • Configuring device-wide language settings

Device-wide language configurations will update your entire mobile operating system to the selected default language.

  1. Open up your Settings app.
  2. Tap on General.
  3. Select Language & Region.
  4. Tap Add Language.
  5. Select your prefered language from the available options.
  6. An alert will ask you which language you wish to use as your primary language. 
  7. Select your primary language.
  8. Your Jibble app will be automatically updated to your selected language.

 

  • Configuring app-specific language settings

App-specific language configurations will only update language preferences of the selected app and not your entire mobile operating system.

  1. Open up your Settings app.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Jibble.
  3. Select Language under Preferred Language.
  4. Select your prefered language.
  5. Your Jibble app will be automatically updated to your selected language.

 

Android:

Currently, only device-wide language configurations are available on Android. Updating device language will update your entire mobile operating system to the selected default language.

  1. Open up your Settings app.
  2. Tap on General Management or System. 
  3. Select Language.
  4. Tap App Language.
  5. Select your prefered language from the available options.
  6. An alert will ask you which language you wish to use as your default language.
  7. Click on Set as default.
  8. Once you’ve changed the device language, close the Jibble app completely and then relaunch it.

Note: The availability of languages is dependent on your device language settings. You can easily switch back to your desired language by adjusting your device’s language preferences accordingly.
