Mobile App: Add or invite team members
Get users to start tracking time by adding or inviting them to your organization
There are two methods to add or invite members on the mobile app:
- Send them an invite to create an account using an e-mail address or phone number, or
- Add their names into Jibble without an e-mail or phone number. This allows them to clock in and out from an attendance kiosk (shared device). Learn how to set up kiosk mode.
Important: On all paid plans, you can invite as many people as there are seats available in your account. If you do not have enough seats available, you will need to purchase additional seats to invite or add more people to your team. Seats are purchased on an upfront payment basis; refer to how my bill/invoice is calculated for more details.
Inviting Users
You must invite your team members using one of the following methods if you want them to have their own account (to log in via web, mobile, and desktop apps):
Invite via invitation link
The invitation link enables employers to directly invite employees. By clicking on the link, team members can easily sign up for their respective organizations.
Steps to send an invitation link:
- Go to People, and tap on the + button located in the top right corner of the page.
- Tap on the Invite via link option.
- A link will be generated for you to use.
- Tap on the Copy link button and share the link with your team members, or click on Share via and choose the preferred platform to send the link.
- Have your employees tap on the link and complete the sign-up process for their own accounts.
Note: Owners and admins can tap on Generate new link to deactivate any other existing links. If this is done, any links that are currently active will immediately expire.
Invite via email address or phone number
Ensure your email is verified upon signing up for Jibble before sending invitations to your employees. Otherwise, invites will not be sent out.
Steps to invite via email address or phone number:
- Go to People.
- Tap on the + button on the top right corner of the page.
- Select the Add Member option and tap on Continue.
- Fill in your team member’s full name and email address/phone number.
- Select the checkbox for Invite member.
- Click on Done.
- That’s it! Your team member will receive an invite to join your organization.

Creating/Adding Members Without an Account
If you don’t need members to log in (e.g., using the attendance kiosk), you can add their profiles without sending invites.
- Go to People.
- Tap on the + button on the top right corner of the page.
- Select the Add member option and tap on Continue.
- Fill in your team member’s full name (the email address/phone number field can be left empty).
- Disable the checkbox for Invite member.
- Tap on Done.
If you’ve added a member without an invitation and now want them to access their own account, simply update their profile by adding their email or phone number to invite them.
Resending and Revoking Invitations
As an owner or admin on Jibble, you have the ability to resend pending invitations in case of errors in the initial invites or revoke pending invitations for team members who no longer should have access to your organization.
Note: The option to resend and revoke invites only applies to pending email or phone number invitations.
- Go to Home.
- A box indicating pending invitations will be shown. This box indicates the total number of invites awaiting any action to be taken.
- Tap on View to see details of each pending invite.
- Tap on a pending invitation from the list, and then tap on Resend to resend an invitation to your team member.
- Or, tap Revoke to cancel the pending invitation that has been sent to your team member.
- Alternatively, you can also tap Resend all, located in the top right corner of the page, to resend the invitation to all members in the pending invitations list.
