Mobile App: Add or invite team members

Get users to start tracking time by adding or inviting them to your organization

There are two methods to add or invite members on the mobile app:

  1. Send them an invite to create an account using an e-mail address or phone number, or
  2. Add their names into Jibble without an e-mail or phone number. This allows them to clock in and out from an attendance kiosk (shared device). Learn how to setup kiosk mode.

Important ❗: On all paid plans, you can invite as many people as there are seats available in your account. If you do not have enough seats available, you will need to purchase additional seats to invite or add more people to your team. Seats are purchased in an upfront payment basis; refer to how my bill/invoice is calculated for more details.


Inviting users

You must invite your team members using one of the following methods if you want them to have their own account (to log in via web, mobile and desktop apps):


The invitation link enables employers to directly invite employees. By clicking on the link, team members can easily sign up for their respective organization.

Generating invitation link on mobile

Steps to send an invitation link:

  1. Go to People, and click on the “+” button located in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Click on the “Invite via link” option.
  3. A link will be generated for you to use.
  4. Click on the Copy link button and share the link with your team members, or click on “Share via” and choose the preferred platform to send the link with.
  5. Have your employees click on the link and complete the sign up process for their own accounts.

Note: Owners and admins can click on “Generate new link” to deactivate any other existing links. If this is done, any links that are currently active will immediately expire. 


Invite via email address or phone number

Ensure your email is verified upon signing up for Jibble before sending invitations to your employees. Otherwise, invites will not be sent out.

Steps to invite via email address or phone number:

  1. Go to People, and click on the “+” button located in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Click on the “Send email/phone invitation” option.
  3. Fill in your team member’s full name and email address/phone number.
  4. Select either “Send email invite” to invite team members via email, or “Send SMS invite” to invite via SMS.
  5. You can make your selection by enabling the checkbox in the right corner below each field.

  6. Click on Confirm.
  7. That’s it! Your team member has been created and they will receive an email or SMS with a signup link.

💡 Tip: If your employees have not accepted the invitations, they can still utilize the Kiosk for clocking in and out.


Creating/adding members without an account

You can still create and add the profiles of your team members without sending them invitations if you intend to only utilize an attendance kiosk and do not require employees to log in. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Go to People, and click on the “+” button located in the top right corner of the page.
  2. Click on the “Send email/phone invitation” option.
  3. Fill in your team member’s full name (you may leave the email address/phone number field empty or fill it in if required).
  4. Ensure checkboxes under the email or phone number fields are unchecked.
  5. Click on Confirm.

You can invite a member who was previously created without an invitation by entering their phone number or email address under their personal profile later on. You can follow the steps on getting started as an owner.


Resending and revoking invitations

As an owner or admin on Jibble, you have the ability to resend pending invitations in case of errors in the initial invites or revoke pending invitations for team members who no longer should have access to your organization.

Note: The option to resend and revoke invitations only applies to pending invites that were sent through email or SMS.

  1. Go to Home.
  2. A box indicating pending invitations will be shown. This box indicates the total number of invites awaiting any action to be taken.Pending invitation box on mobile
  3. Tap on View to see details of each pending invite.Resend or revoke invites on mobile
  4. Click on a pending invitation from the list, and click on Resend to resend an invitation to your team member.
  5. Or, click Revoke to cancel the pending invitation that has been sent to your team member.
  6. Alternatively, you can also click Resend all located in the top right corner of the page to resend the invitation to all members in the pending invitations list.
